Facts to Consider

​

​The average cost of tuition, books, uniforms and other fees for Kenyan Secondary School Students in Day and Boarding respectively is  $890 to $1,000 per year depending on secondary school category. ( The government has tried to offer free tuition for secondary but it has not worked well with boarding schools and has since the cost of secondary education shoot up 50%)

​In addition, there is an approximate cost of $250 per year for amenities and other social service needs.

Primary School Education is free in Kenya but there are monument costs accruing to parents for purchase of Uniforms, Books, and School Furniture like Desks, not forgetting food.

​In average, Uniforms require about $ 100 to $ 120 per year per child

​Desks and books- $200 per year (once the desk has been purchased it stays on so cost in a once affair)

​Our School  & Community Feeding Programme. It requires $0.65 per day or $235 per year to give a child a decent meal a day.

  • General Donations and Materials (Clothes, Computers, Toys Laundry Machines, Power Tools (Carpentry Training) Old and New Books for library, Medical first Aid Training equipments, Drugs Sewing Machines and others.
