Sponsorship for Amenities

Many schools in Kenya are hardly able to support the huge influx of children especially after the declaration of Free Primary Education in the Country. With no fees income, the schools have to do without basics amenities like desks, stationery, textbooks and even physical classrooms.

It is not unusual to find teacher-conducting classes under trees or children seating on stone on the dust covered floor in the classrooms. 

 

Many of the poor parents are forced to purchase desks and other materials if their children are to be accepted in class as new intakes. Sometimes they (parents are asked to physically attend to some of the development works being undertaken by the schools like digging pit latrines etc.

 

Our sponsorship school amenities, seeks to offer assistance to schools through material support like desks, books for setting up libraries, health facilities and other special need areas like extra-curricular activities like sports and music as well as theater.

​ Support Health Services

Most of the primary schools and some secondary schools in Kenya do not have the services of medical personal within the prescient of the schools. Teachers handle most medical cases and serious one sent home to parent who then results to local clinics and dispensaries.

 

We seek to offer needy schools an opportunity to have a trained nurse within the school and equip the schools with various medical equipments and drugs. The schools provide the facilities and we support in paying salaries for the Health Nurses and drugs. This way, the schools and the children are well catered for in case of emergencies
